Derek is originally from the Oregon Coast and began his insurance career in Eugene, Oregon in 2000. He moved to the Treasure Valley with his wife in 2002 to open his own property and casualty insurance agency.

 

For nearly 20 years Derek has been active in the insurance industry as both a sales agent and carrier representative. He has an extensive background in health, commercial, and personal lines insurance. He has joined the Allegis team specializing in Medicare coverage.

He loves spending time coaching youth basketball and baseball and serves as a board member for Ignite Sports, Inc.

Derek has been married to his wife Rachel since 2000 and they have two children.
