Sam was born and raised in Boise and now resides in Nampa with his wife Mashell and their 4 children. Following graduation from Capital High School in 1995, Sam served a 2 year mission in El Salvador, C. A. for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Here, Sam became fluent in the Spanish language and currently enjoys servicing much of the local Hispanic and Latino community.

Sam began his career in the insurance industry in September of 1999; his background and training include all things health and life insurance related. In order to focus his energies specifically on the complexities of the health insurance market, Sam enjoys a partnership with fellow Allegis agent John Seable who now services all of Sam’s life insurance clients.

Sam achieved a 2 year industry specific designation, LUTCF, from The American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in February 2005. Sam has achieved “Top Broker” status with Idaho’s largest health insurance company and is a certified broker with “Your Health Idaho”, Idaho’s state based health insurance exchange.

Aside from work, Sam serves faithfully in his Church. He is on the board of a local community based soccer organization and he is also a member of the Nampa Exchange Service Club, having served as a past Club President. Sam loves coaching his kids in soccer and watching them play. The Lungren’s enjoy the Idaho outdoors spending much family time white water rafting, motor boating, and camping in the summer and sledding and playing as much as possible in the snow during the winter.
