Scott was born and raised in the Treasure Valley.  An alumnus of Borah High School, Scott went on to pursue football at Ricks College where he received an Associate’s degree.  From there, he attended BYU and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business.  Finally, Scott ended back in Boise where he earned a Master’s Degree in Business (MBA) from Boise State University.

 

After graduating from college, Scott began his career in the insurance business and has been learning and growing his practice for the past 18 years.  In 2010, Scott founded Allegis Benefits Group and Allegis Casualty Company.  Scott is currently the President for Allegis Benefits Group where he focuses on building benefit plans for large and small employers. He is currently licensed in Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Wyoming, Montana, and Oregon. Over the years, Scott has been honored with various awards and accolades from the Insurance industry and companies including being recognized as the “Broker of the Year.” He is currently serving on a Broker Advisor counsel for SelectHealth and has been a past Broker board member for several other companies including Regence, Altius and Pacific Source.

 

Scott spends most of his free time with his 5 children. They love to be outdoors and active, including camping expeditions, frequent swimming outings, regular trips to the Oregon beaches and Idaho rivers, lots of fishing, hiking, shooting guns and tons of mountain time. The Stewarts are an athletic family and if not engaged in an organized sport, they can be found playing something in the yard, road, garage, trampoline, or wrestling in the family room. Scott has sponsored, volunteered and/or helped coach his children in events ranging from school activities, Boy Scouts, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Softball, Baseball, and Soccer.  He loves every second he spends with his kids and only wishes he could be in 5 places at once.
